In most cases, The main contact only carry the main load current through NO contact. Meanwhile, auxiliary contacts are generally fitted with two sets of NO and NC contacts, so they can meet the demand of different control signal. GMC AC contactors can also work like intermediate relays. When paired with main circuits, they help expand the control capabilities and make the whole system more flexible.
