Description
Circuit breaker switch indicator is an important auxiliary signal component for high-voltage electrical equipment and switchgear, it's used to intuitively display the real-time working status of the circuit breaker. They mainly rely on mechanical linkage and circuit on-off control and achieve accurate status indication.
The core of its working principle lies in the auxiliary contacts inside the circuit breaker. These auxiliary contacts are closely connected to the operating mechanism of the circuit breaker. When the circuit breaker completes the closing or opening action, the mechanical structure will synchronously drive the auxiliary contacts to connect and disconnect. Circuit Breaker switch Indicator uses red and green LED lights to distinguish and prompt: red means the circuit breaker is closed, and green means it's open.
The opening and closing position indicator of the circuit breaker is powered by the AC or DC control power supply of the switchgear. It comes with an internal step-down and current-limiting circuit, which drops the higher supply voltage down to the standard working voltage for the LEDs., thereby stabilizing the operating current and preventing the light source from burning out. When the circuit breaker is closed, the matching auxiliary contact connect the red light circuit and the red light is on . When the circuit breaker is opened, the matching auxiliary contact is connected the green light circuit, and the green light is on.
